Welcome to TagCraft - Tag & Pixel Manager ("we", "our", or "the App"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of merchants who install and use our App on the Shopify platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information in connection with the installation and operation of the App.
2. Information We Collect
To provide the services of the App, we collect only the minimum necessary data to authenticate and run the application:
- Shop Credentials: We collect the Shopify shop domain name (e.g.,
your-shop.myshopify.com) and the access token generated during installation to authenticate your session. - Configuration Settings: We collect and store your tracking IDs (Google Tag Manager Container ID, Google Analytics 4 Measurement ID, and Meta Pixel ID) and their activation states.
Important Note on Customer Data:
The App does NOT collect, access, or store any personal data belonging to your shop's customers (such as names, billing/shipping addresses, phone numbers, emails, or payment details).
3. Third-Party Tracking Scripts
The App acts solely as a management interface to facilitate the insertion of tracking pixels on your storefront (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Meta Pixel). Any data collected via these tracking pixels is sent directly to Google or Meta and is subject to your own store's privacy policy and the respective privacy policies of these third-party providers. We do not receive or process any data collected by these third-party trackers.
4. How We Use Information
We use the collected information solely to:
- Ensure the proper functioning and security of the App.
- Load your script preferences on your store.
- Verify active subscription tiers and manage billing via Shopify's billing APIs.
5. Data Storage and Security
We use industry-standard security measures to store your shop credentials and settings. Upon uninstallation of the App, we comply with Shopify's mandatory GDPR/CCPA webhooks and remove your credentials and configuration data from our systems automatically within the timeframe required by Shopify.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the last updated date above or via a notice within the App dashboard.
